How to Convert USB 2.0 to Firewire 400

Things You'll Need:

• Firewire 400 to USB 2.0 adapter
• Firewire cable

1. Step 1

   Insert the firewire 400 to USB 2.0 adapter into one of the USB ports on your computer.

2. Step 2

   Connect the firewire 400 cable into the open firewire 400 port on the adapter.

3. Step 3

   Plug the opposite end of the firewire cable into the electronic device you are hooking up to the computer.

4. Step 4

   Power on the electronic device and, momentarily, the computer states it has detected a new camera or hardware device.
