- 1Load the two images that you want to blend onto your computer.
Open Photoshop. Select "File" from the menu and choose "New." In the dialog, enter the width and height you want for your banner and click "OK."
Select "File" from the menu and choose "Open." In the dialog that appears, select and open the two image you want to blend.
Use the "Copy" and "Paste" function under "Edit" to place these images in the banner document. Resize them to fit, although some cropping will probably occur.
Press "Q" on your keyboard and use the gradient tool to drag a gradient across the selection. Then press "Q" again. Hit "Delete" on your keyboard and the two images will be blended.
