What Is a 9 Pin DIN Connector?

A DIN connector is a type of cable connector used for computer keyboards, 

mice and other connections. It is named for Deutsches Institut für Normun,

 which translates to the German Institute for Standardization. 

There are a variety of DIN connector types, including the 9-pin connector.

Types of DIN Connectors

1. The most common DIN connectors are the 6-pin DIN, which is known as a PS/2 connector, and the 4-pin DIN, which is known as an S-Video connector. Other DIN connectors are the 5-pin, 8-pin and 9-pin connectors.
